FAQ's
Question: What Division should I enter?
Answer: Open Division: open to all professionals, youth and amateurs
Amateur Division: open to youth and amateurs only
Novice Amateur Division: reserved for those new to ranch horse events
Youth Division: Exhibitors 18 and under
Question: What bridle can I show in?
Answer: Any age horse can show two handed in a snaffle or bosal; OR one handed in a shank bit.
Question: How will Conformation be judged?
Answer: In a line-up like halter
Question: How will classes be placed?
Answer: 6pts for 1st, 5pts for 2nd, 4pts for 3rd, 3pts for 4th, 2pts for 5th and 1pt for 6th. All exhibitors will receive 1 participation point.
Question: Will Daily High Point Awards be given?
Answer: Yes, Champion and Reserve Champion rosettes will be award to top two exhibitors in each division (must show in all 4 classes in the division to qualify. Ranch Riding placing is the tie breaker.
Question: How will year end buckle(s) be awarded?
Answer: Buckles will be awarded to Champion and Reserve Champion in each division. Same horse/rider combo, best 3 out of 4 shows
Question: What show attire is required?
Answer: Collared Long sleeve shirt, pants, boots, western hat or helmet
Question: Are sport boots and/or splint boots allowed?
Answer: Yes
